SIGNATURE
HIGH-END MUSIC SERVER
Discipline, with a soul.

The world has always read music in Italian.
Signature was engineered in the same language.
For more than four centuries, Italian has told performers all over the world how rhythm should flow, how intensity should move, and how silence should exalt sound.
Signature was born to apply the same language and discipline to digital audio.
Envisioned by the same spirit.
Signature doesn’t interact with the data.
It governs the conditions around it: time, power, silence.

Bit-perfect is the score.
BUT The performance? An entirely different story.
In the digital domain, bit-perfect confirms the file.
But it does not govern the clock, the power feeding the processor, the electrical boundary of the network, the heat moving through the chassis or the mechanical energy entering it. Those make all the difference.
Signature does all this.

Not with one spectacular component.
But with a complete architecture in which timing, network, computation, power, heat and resonance were developed as one integrated discipline.
A digital stream is not an abstraction; it travels through real electronics, real noise, real time.
Signature is designed so that whatever DAC you connect, it actually delivers everything it was built to deliver.
TWO CHASSIS.
A SINGLE VOICE.
The 18 kg Digital Transport, and 25 kg Linear Power Supply occupy separate full-size chassis machined from Constellium ALPLAN® 6082 precision aluminium.
This is not visual theatre.
The double chassis allows transformers, rectification and energy storage to be placed at a physical distance from the circuitry that handles the music.
The special aluminium provides the rigidity, dimensional stability, EMI/RFI isolation and thermal conductivity required for the chassis to operate as structure, shield, and cooling system at the same time.
The two components form one source.
Their separation is part of how it works.

TEMPO.
ONE GESTURE.
ONE AUTHORITY.
When time is exact, the soundstage opens, the layers separate, every note returns to its place.
In music too, “time” is written in Italian.
In Signature, it is measured at 0.5 ppm; holdover compliant with the Stratum 3E telecom standard.
The same synchronization standard that disciplines experimental physics laboratories and the timestamping of the world's financial markets.
Here, dedicated to your music alone.
Signature integrates a dedicated, professional-grade IEEE 1588 hardware network card, with its clock maintained entirely in hardware and packet timestamping at 4-nanosecond resolution, disciplined by an ultra-high-stability OCXO.
It doesn't inherit time: it dictates it with unmistakable precision.
And through the 10 MHz output on 50-ohm SMA, it can hand that reference to your converter as well.
An orchestra follows a single gesture.
Inside Signature and in your Digital Transport, everything follows a single clock.

Luce: Music travels on light.
The network, disciplined.
For everyone else, the network is a risk to endure. For Signature, it's an instrument to conduct.

The 1000BASE-X SFP path accepts LC fiber-optic modules: total galvanic isolation, zero ground loops - between the world and your system, only light.
The stream enters is governed by an independent hardware clock: packet timestamping performed in hardware at 4-nanosecond resolution.
Everything is disciplined by an oven-controlled oscillator, indifferent to the thermal swings of the electronics around it.
It's the protocol professional studios use to make machines speak to one another (AES67, Ravenna, Dante) - applied here to a single purpose: high-end domestic listening.

3 independent power supplies.
On a one-purpose-designed 6-layer PCB,
built entirely from discrete components.
Transient response tuned to the millimeter, voltage behaviour and custom-designed soft-start ramps were developed for the circuits each supply serves.
Toroidal transformers built to our own specification sit inside dedicated metal enclosures. Precision 0.1% resistors and a mixed capacitor network - polymer, film and electrolytic, with 151,664µF of total capacitance - were selected according to function, rather than spectacle.
30 Amperes of absolute calm.
The ripple? Among the lowest measurable in this class.
This 25 kg Linear Power Supply occupies its own chassis, physically separating transformers, rectification and energy storage from the Digital Transport.
The result is current without hesitation.
Voltage stability under transient load.
And a noise floor that leaves the digital circuitry undisturbed during real operation.
The key to a digital sound that retains all the sonic qualities of analogue source, without its limitations.
The connection completes the supply.
Two purpose-built DC umbilicals join the chassis through precision LEMO self-latching connectors, with gold-plated contacts and shielded shells.
Inside, high-purity copper conductors manufactured to military-grade standards, joined with silver-alloy solder and protected by a dense, silver-plated copper braid.
A stable Tefzel™ dielectric provides mechanical durability, long-term chemical stability, and a low dielectric constant - minimizing signal loss and delay.
Not bundled cables selected after the circuit was complete, but specifically designed to complete the circuit.

SILENCE.
The hardest note isn't the loudest.
It's the quietest.
It requires greater control.
PATENTED 18-SPHERE RESONANCE CONTROL SYSTEM · FANLESS PASSIVE COOLING · 40MM STRUCTURAL RADIATORS
Signature's pianissimo starts from 40-millimeter heatsinks milled from solid, 12-millimeter faceplate.
The 43 kg aluminium mass resists flexure and local resonance, while providing the surface area required for entirely passive cooling through the large lateral radiators.
The same structure contributes to EMI/RFI containment, and gives each circuit a stable physical environment.
Supporting the structure, a patented resonance-control system: 18 oversized spheres between Delrin and aluminium, controlling the path through which mechanical energy can enter or leave the chassis.
Vibrations stop before they become noise, and noise before it becomes sound.

An entire musical life inside.

Digital was never meant to imitate analogue.
It was meant to make the comparisoN unnecessary.
For 30 years, the argument has been the same: digital precision versus analog warmth.
Signature rejects the argument entirely.
Signature is not voiced to resemble vinyl; it does not “warm” digital by removing information, soften transients, or exchange resolution for comfort.
It pursues something more demanding: the unique emotional signature of reality.
Tonal density, without added weight. Resolution, without incision.
Spatial continuity, without artificial scale.
Natural decay, without softened edges.
Control, without restraint.
Flow, without blur.
From the first second of listening, the old digital-versus-analogue divide fades into the past. Not because one format has defeated the other, but because their supposed virtues no longer need to pull you in opposite directions and bound you to compromise.

LA PROVA
Rehearsal. Test. Proof.
In Italian, Prova means rehearsal, and also proof, test.
Before a Concerto, there is always La Prova.
Before a Signature commission, there should be one too.
Your system, your house, a track you've known for 20 years.
Signature beside your usual source.
Same file, same room, same audio chain, same volume.
It's the comparison no review can play for you - and the only one that counts.
Signature must enter systems that already have everything, but not a source worthy of them. And you can debate that only by comparison.
01 — Technical consultation
30 minutes, phone or video. We analyze your audio system and your listening room. DAC, network, present source, preferred player, connection architecture and the music used to judge it.
02 — Delivery and setup
In Italy, Signature is installed in your home by its designer - not by a courier.
Abroad, by your authorized distributor, where available.
03 — The direct comparison
Your current source, then Signature.
Music you have known for years.
Enough time to hear every aspect of the change in performance.
04 — Your commission slot
You can commission your own Signature, customized for your system: storage, color finish, and any other available bespoke option.

The OS on which the masters of virtually every record sold in the last four decades were produced.
What Linux cannot give you: full use of the proprietary ASIO drivers, which DAC manufacturers write so their customers can extract the maximum performance from their machines.
We tested the minimalist route - Raspberry Pi, NUC, Linux variants.
The sound had no life in it.
After years of testing we chose one Windows build - LTSC - and optimized it function by function, parameter by parameter, for audio alone.
