STAGE
HIGH-END MUSIC SERVER

A streamer receives music. A Stage governs it.

Copia di Senza titolo (2370 x 1734 px) (2370 x 867 px) (5)_11zon.webp

Four architectures.

One discipline.

Every Stage is a true music server - fanless, hand-built in Italy, open to the leading audio engines, and speaking to your DAC through the drivers its own manufacturer wrote.
What changes, as you climb through the series, is the scale of the architecture protecting the signal.
Never the philosophy.

BEYOND "PLUG-AND-PLAY".

Pixel (1)_11zon.webp

Most streamers on the market are audio appliances: They receive music the way a letterbox receives mail.

9_9_11zon.webp

Closed boxes, sized to run their own firmware and pass along a stream of data. A Stage belongs to a different category: one complete architecture, built around one job. Optimized for it in every detail.
It holds your library, runs the audio engine you choose, processes your music with real computing power, and delivers it to your DAC through its manufacturer's own proprietary drivers in the most unadulterated way.

Not the end point of streaming. Not just a source.

The beating heart of your system and the place where playback is governed - with the care that a Hi-Fi system truly deserves.

The result settles the oldest quarrel in the audiophile world from the very first listen: the sound is precise the way only digital can be, yet alive the way you thought only analog could be.

The divide simply stops mattering. A new standard is set.

THE DISCIPLINE COMES STANDARD.

What every Stage shares - from the first model to the summit.

The Stage series is a ladder. The philosophy is the same: one obsession - protecting the signal - pursued across five fronts: power, resonance, computation, network, operating system.
The models differ in how far each front is taken.

A true music server

Library, audio engine and digital transport in one machine, not a network accessory.

Open audio engine

Roon, HQPlayer, Qobuz Connect, Tidal, JRiver, Spotify Connect, Pure ASIO Player - never a firmware prison, with lifetime updates.

Speaks to your DAC through its maker's own ASIO drivers

Drawing out the full performance your converter was built to deliver.

Entirely passive cooling system

No fans, no ventilation vibration, no airflow, no dust.
Silence, engineered in.

Carries no built-in DAC, by design

Transport and conversion stay separate, so every resource serves the digital path and your converter stays yours to choose and upgrade.

Your music, without limits

From 4 to 8 TB as standard, expandable up to 20 TB, alongside NAS and streaming in one control environment.

Processes up to DSD512 with HQPlayer

Wherever your DAC and configuration allow;

connects at 2.5GbE, because streaming enters through the network - and the network is part of the audio path.

Built by hand in Italy, one at a time

Configured around your system before construction even begins - with the care and lifetime support of the designer itself.
Customer support also features remote checks and operations on your streamer music server, in the comfort of your home and without any down time.

EACH COMPONENT IS CHOSEN OR DESIGNED FOR ITS SONIC VIRTUES.

Audio-grade capacitors from Rubycon, ELNA, ClarityCap, Jantzen, Nichicon and Epcos. Precision resistors held to 0.1%. High-speed Schottky diodes.

Shielded boards, audio-grade fuses, chassis built to damp vibration and shut out interference. Internal wiring assembled by hand, with conductors selected one by one.

And before any Stage leaves the workshop, it passes two examinations: rigorous technical testing - and critical listening.  A machine that measures perfectly and moves no one doesn't leave our workshop.

Explore

The OS on which the masters of virtually every record sold in the last four decades were produced.

What Linux cannot give you: full use of the proprietary ASIO drivers, which DAC manufacturers write so their customers can extract the maximum performance from their machines.

We tested the minimalist route - Raspberry Pi, NUC, Linux variants.

The sound had no life in it.

After years of testing we chose one Windows build - LTSC - and optimized it function by function, parameter by parameter, for audio alone.

4-8 TB STANDARD ARCHIVE · UP TO 12 TB · DEDICATED NVMe SYSTEM DRIVE · PCM/DXD · DSD512

AN ENTIRE LIFE OF MUSIC. Archived FORever.

As standard, each Stage comes with a 4 TB HDD (8 TB on #Stage 4): expandable up to 12 TB on request, or upgradable to SSD. Carefully selected for their reliability and life expectancy.

THE OS LIVES ON M.2 NVMe SSD

The operating system lives apart, on a dedicated M.2 NVMe SSD, keeping system activity separate from the music archive, and giving everything immediate response.

Streaming with no limits - up to dsd512

Stage models do not force you into a closed playback ecosystem. They are configured for Roon, Qobuz Connect, HQPlayer, JRiver, TIDAL, Spotify Connect and Pure ASIO Player. Local files or streaming. Your chosen player. The same controlled architecture controlling them.

EXTENSIVE  OPTIMIZATION OF EVERY PARAMETER

Driver paths, active services, process priorities, network parameters and communication with the motherboard are configured to cut unnecessary activity and eliminate latency across the playback chain.

library & Streaming

You can manage playback in complete comfort from tablet or smartphone, through the remote-control app of your chosen software player.

For an extraordinary listening experience, we recommend Roon paired with HQPlayer as the audio engine.

HAND-BUILT, CONFIGURED, LISTENED TO, AND SUPPORTED FOR LIFE.

Before we build, we study your system: your DAC, your network, your library, your software, the way you want to control it all. Then one pair of hands builds your machine — because hands notice what production lines never will. Then it is tested, and then it is listened to, critically, against the only reference this workshop has ever had: acoustic instruments, heard live.

On delivery we install it, connect your DAC, set up your software, index your library, and walk you through everything.

You'll receive a source that's ready for your system — backed by a two-year warranty and after-sales support without equal in this industry, including secure remote assistance from the people who designed the machine.

WHAT YOU WILL HEAR

From the first note: clarity, density, a three-dimensional image you could walk into. Instruments breathe. Harshness fades, listening fatigue dissolves, and the finest details arrive without being pushed at you —

because they are not added emphasis. They are information, finally arriving intact.

No bottlenecks. No digital artifacts. Just music as it was meant to be heard, precise, alive, and yours again.

Stage #1 - The entry into the discipline

Stage #1 is not yet another plug-and-play streamer, spreading its budget across a built-in DAC, a display, and features that add nothing to sound quality.

It puts everything where it actually matters: into the digital source.

One chassis. An entire playback architecture, built to govern how your music is reproduced.

It holds your library, runs the engine you choose, from Roon to HQPlayer at full DSD512, and speaks to your DAC through the drivers its own maker wrote.

A combination unique in its class. Designed as a complete system, not a closed appliance. All of it in a single full-size chassis.

A streamer receives music. A Stage governs it.
TDA in its most accessible form.

Stage #2 - The first separation

This is the model where the founding gesture of the series happens: the power supply leaves the signal chassis.

Two toroidal transformers --- epoxy-impregnated against vibration, copper-shielded against interference --- move into a dedicated external unit, and three fully independent linear lines feed the digital transport.

Not more components for their own sake: distance, placed exactly where noise once lived beside the signal.

The power supply leaves the chassis. The signal gains space.

Stage #3 - Separation becomes a complete architecture

What Stage #2 begins, Stage #3 builds out to full scale: two full-size chassis, one for the signal, one entirely for power, joined by a locking Harting umbilical.

Behind it, twenty amperes in reserve across four independent lines. Not brute force, but composure: current that never wavers when the music demands everything at once.

Inside, ECC on-die memory guards the integrity of every bit; beneath, feet machined from solid aluminum hold the whole architecture still.

SIGNATURE

The Stage series protects the signal across five fronts.

Signature adds the sixth: time, featuring unique cutting-edge custom developments.

For 30 years, the argument has been digital precision versus analog warmth. Signature rejects the argument entirely.

It pursues something more demanding: the unique emotional signature of reality.

THE VOICE OF THOSE WHO LISTEN

"You forget you're listening to a digital source.
The speakers vanish. What remains is Sound: clear, tangible, finely sculpted. Never listened to something similar before.
I have experienced such feelings only live."

— Carlo Serra, TDA customer

DON'T TRUST WORDS.
TRUST WHAT YOU WILL HEAR.

You can't judge a digital source by reading a page - not even this one.

Explore

You judge it in your own system,

With your own loudspeakers, your own DAC,

And the music you know inside out.

We bring demonstrations into the customer's own system wherever we can, or host them with our selected international partners.

The demo is free, with no obligation to buy.

To guarantee an impeccable experience we take a limited number of requests each month, handled in order of booking.

Your music. Your system. Your verdict.

01 — Technical consultation

30 minutes, phone or video. We analyze your audio system and your listening room. DAC, network, present source, preferred player, connection architecture and the music used to judge it.

02 — Delivery and setup

In Italy, Stage is installed in your home by its designer - not by a courier.

Abroad, by your authorized distributor, where available.

03 — The direct comparison

Your current source, then the Stage you selected. Music you have known for years.

Enough time to hear every aspect of the change in performance.

04 — Your commission slot
